My Journey in Mortgage Advisory: From Europe to Hong Kong

"I've spent most of my career in customer-centric environments, and it has been a fascinating journey. My professional path has taken me from Europe to the Middle East and, for the past 13 years, to the dynamic city of Hong Kong. Each location has enriched my perspective, especially in understanding diverse client needs and delivering tailored financial solutions.

Currently, I provide independent UK mortgage advice, offering insights and options from the entire market. My role is not just about finding the best mortgage deal—it's about guiding clients through one of the most significant financial decisions of their lives. Whether it’s first-time buyers or seasoned investors, I aim to simplify the process and help them achieve their property ownership goals.

My passion for this profession stems from my own experience as a long-time Buy-to-Let property owner. Over the years, I've become deeply involved in the intricacies of mortgages, which naturally led me to pursue a career in mortgage advisory. The transition felt like a natural progression, allowing me to combine my personal interest in property investment with my professional skills in financial consulting.

What I enjoy most about my job is the gratitude I receive from clients. There’s nothing more rewarding than helping someone realize their aspirations of property ownership. Being a part of their journey and seeing them achieve their dreams gives me immense satisfaction.

The best advice I've ever received was simple yet profound: “Get into property.” This advice set the foundation for my career and investment strategies, and it continues to influence my professional approach.

Outside of work, I’m an active member of the Hash House Harriers running groups. It’s a great way to stay fit, meet new people, and explore the beautiful trails around Hong Kong. Running with the group offers a refreshing balance to the intensity of work, keeping me energized and focused.
